What Is Get Lasso?
Get Lasso or “LASSO” as they like to call it is a full fledged affiliate link management system. Not only can you handle affiliate links, but it also offers advanced link scanning to find hidden affiliate opportunities and importantly – add beautiful looking display boxes into your blog posts to highlight the products and services you want to promote and recommend as an affiliate.

Pros & Cons of Get Lasso
Lasso isn’t for everyone. Here’s where it shines and where it falls short.
Pros
- You can easily insert product feature images into your wordpress gutenberg blocks.
- Auto-update your affiliate links across the site in one click
- Automatically add your amazon tracking code on your entire site.
- Easy search & replace function to find missing revenue opportunities.
Cons
- Plugin can get expensive if you have multiple sites.
- Some of the code is buggy on occasion
- Plugin feels a little “bloaty” for the work it does.
- No export functionality means it’s hard to migrate to another plugin

Lasso Pricing
Lasso Pricing is tiered based on your usage across sites. It comes in three flavors:
- Essential – $29/month
- Advanced – $74/month
- Portfolio – $229/month
The main issue we have with the pricing is that the advanced and essential pricing don’t really get you much more than the essential – it’s just used on additional sites. And once you upgrade – the pricing gets intense. For example – if you’re on the portfolio year-round, you’re spending nearly $2,800/year in software costs!
That’s a bit wild in our opinion – at that level you can almost hire a VA to manage them for you or build a custom solution.
Lasso is the best and easiest plugin to use for affiliate marketing on the wordpress platform. In fact, we're using it right now!
Lasso also offers a free version of the plugin which offers stripped down versions of it’s display boxes and limited functionality. It’s a good way to test out the plugin to see if it’s right for you – but it’s quite a bit different than the full-fledged premium plugin.
