Get the right name for your blog
- Namewink.com – This is our favourite domain name generator by far. Tip – Go to advanced, hit ‘blog’ and start playing with words, you’ll find an amazing name in no time.
- Namemesh.com – Another domain name finder, less fun, but a bit more precise if you know exactly what you’re looking for.
Once you’ve found the domain name of your dreams, write it down and head over to here do not pass go, do collect $350 of free resources.
Tools to help you write better posts
- Hemingway – Helps you craft your writing to your audience. It tells you when you’re too wordy, how easy your writing is to read, even what reading age it comes out as.
- Grammarly – Hands down, the best grammar and spellchecker out there.
- SMMRY – Summarises long-form text, helpful to know what you’ve actually written and great for descriptions.
Ideas dear boy, ideas.
- Portent Title Maker – Stuck for ideas? Put a phrase into this and refresh a few times, some are pretty silly but it should at least get you thinking.
- Blog Idea Generator – This little tool from Hubspot should help you come up with a few ideas if you’re stuck. Will give you a few laughs in the process.
- Google Trends – Amazing tool to find out whats ‘trending’, literally. We’ll make a post showing how to get the most out of this.
