Thrive Themes has quickly become our go to recommendation for landing pages. Why? They have a ton of high converting landing pages that are easy to install for your site. Whether you’re collecting emails for your list or wanting to build a great looking sales page they are incredibly affordable to get started.
One of the biggest issues with most landing page services are they are incredibly expensive, especially when starting out which is why Thrive Themes stands out from the rest of the pack.
You can get started for a single payment of 67 dollars (for one site) or subscribe to their entire suite of plugins and themes with their Thrive Membership and get access to everything for 19.99 a month.
While Thrive Themes isn’t nearly as customizable as Leadpages and Instapage, they make building landing pages incredibly simple and give you more than enough options to get started and build your list.
Another benefit of our pick Thrive Themes is they also have a ton of video content and tutorials to help get you up and running.
Their landing page builder isn’t as intuitive as some of the other competitors, but for the affordable price it’s our recommendation to get started and building your list.
LeadPages
For serious online marketers Leadpages has long been one of the best landing page softwares on the market. Over the years they have build an incredible fan base and continue to improve their product on a regular basis.
They also do an excellent job of working with a ton of 3rd party apps making it easy to connect with your favorite online tools (email list providers etc.) Leadpages also has top tier designs for hundreds of landing page templates making it super simple to get started.
Their customer education is also unparalleled. You can sign up for weekly webinars that teach you how to build high converting landing pages and they have a ton of step by step tutorials. They also are constantly adding additional improvements to make it easier for your pages to convert, one click signup, SMS email capture etc.
With all their features, it can be a bit overwhelming get your feel for the platform, but that does come with some advantages as you scale your blog.
Compared to our Thrive Themes Landing Page Builder recommendation, they are a bit pricer, which is a deal breaker for many just getting started. If budget is an issue, Leadpages does offer a monthly subscription plan, but you can save a significant amount of money if you go with their annual plan. Leadpages is definitely a company you should keep an eye on.
Instapage
Instapage is a landing page software that places a heavy emphasis on high converting pages (lead capture sales pages etc.) Their custom templates are beautifully designed, and it’s super simple to go from no landing page to landing page in literally a matter of minutes.
One big disadvantage and deal breaker for us, is that they do not offer a monthly payment plan, meaning you have to pay for an entire year up front. Price aside, their features and support are competitive and in some cases superior to other options.
To their credit, they are the only landing page software that we know of that offers a 30 day trial with full access to all their incredible features. So you can take it for a spin and see for yourself if you like the feel and function of Instapage.
Their split testing feature on their professional plan is fantastic and they also have wide variety of 3rd party integrations which is nice. However, on their basic plan you’re unable to use custom code.
We definitely recommend Instapage pages for someone who considers themself a more experienced online marketer and are excited to see them continue to improve their product.
